Product Blueprint

Your Product Blueprint for physical products will need two updates for this addon to function correctly.

Field handles

You can call your fields whatever you want.

Use the mappings array in the configuration file to change the field name that the calculator will look at to get each Product's properties.

Physical attributes

The Australia Post PAC requires package dimensions and weight.

This means that every Product in your Simple Commerce store will require these values.

Without these values, your Australia Post Shipping Methods will not be presented to the user.

You will need to add the following fields to your Product Blueprint:

• width, in centimetres (cm)

• height, in centimetres (cm)

• depth, in centimetres (cm) (note that length is a reserved word)

• weight, in kilograms (kg)

Don't forget to update your configuration mappings to ensure your field handles are correctly set.

Australia Post Shipping fieldtype

You will need to add the Australia Post Shipping fieldtype to your Product blueprint.

By default, the mapping looks for the field called australia_post_services. You can change this mapping in the mappings of the configuration.

This will present you with a list of all Domestic and International Shipping Methods configured for your site.

All will be selected by default.

You can change the selections to include (keep ticked) or exclude (untick) different methods for each Product.

As an example, if you have two Products, one available for Express and one not, if a user has both in their cart, because one cannot use Express Post, it will automatically be excluded from the available quotes.
